Career:

Started with ICI before running my own overland travel business. Worked for GKN Floors Ltd as Overseas Marketing Manager, the GKN Mills Building Services Ltd. Founded Thrust Cars Ltd and took the Thrust2 to a new World Land Speed Record of 633.468mph in 1983.
After Thrust2 I founded ARV Aviation Ltd to market a low-cost, all metal, two seater training and recreational aircraft. Then tried for the Blue Riband trans-Atlantic record with the Atlantic Sprinter powered by a Rolls-Royce RB-211 engine.
Now running the ThrustSSC project, as well as undertaking public speaking engagements.
